A lberto Palatchi is a Spanish billionaire who transformed his family's bridal shop into Pronovias, a global leader in the luxury bridal wear industry. His father founded the Barcelona-based company in 1922, but it was Alberto who envisioned and executed its international expansion. He took over the business and revolutionized the bridal market by introducing the concept of prêt-à-porter (ready-to-wear) wedding gowns, making high-fashion designs more accessible to a broader audience.

Under his nearly 50 years of leadership, Pronovias grew from a single store into a worldwide powerhouse with a presence in over 100 countries, thousands of points of sale, and flagship stores in major fashion capitals like New York, London, and Paris. He collaborated with famous designers and built a highly efficient production and distribution system, cementing the brand's prestigious reputation.
