A nand Burman is a prominent Indian businessman and a key member of the family that controls Dabur, one of India's leading consumer goods companies. He represents the fifth generation of the Burman family, which founded the company in 1884 as a small Ayurvedic pharmacy. A scientist by training, with a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical chemistry from the University of Kansas, Anand Burman has been the driving force behind Dabur's foray into modern scientific research and development.

He joined the family business and established its R&D division, bringing a focus on clinical validation and standardization to the company's traditional Ayurvedic products. He served as the chairman of Dabur for 12 years, from 2007 to 2019, a period during which the company saw significant growth and professionalization. Under his guidance, Dabur expanded its portfolio and international presence while maintaining its core identity as a trusted provider of natural and herbal products. He has also co-founded a diagnostics company, OncQuest Laboratories.
