B . Partha Saradhi Reddy is an Indian entrepreneur and the founder and chairman of Hetero Drugs, one of the world's largest producers of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). APIs are the key raw materials used to manufacture finished medicines. A scientist by training, Reddy founded Hetero in 1993 in Hyderabad, a city that has become a major hub for the Indian pharmaceutical industry.

Under his leadership, Hetero has grown into a global powerhouse in the generics industry. The company is a major supplier of APIs for a wide range of therapies, particularly antiviral drugs used to treat HIV/AIDS.
