B ruce Cheng is a Taiwanese billionaire and the founder of Delta Electronics, a global leader in power and thermal management solutions. An engineer by training, Cheng founded the company in 1971 with a mission to create more energy-efficient electronics. Delta started by making components for televisions and has since grown into a massive global supplier of a wide range of products.

Under Cheng's leadership, Delta became the world's largest provider of switching power supplies and DC brushless fans, essential components found in countless electronic devices, from laptops to servers. He has also steered the company to become a major player in the green technology sector, producing power systems for data centers, solar energy solutions, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. After leading the company for over 40 years, he retired as chairman in 2012 but remains the company's honorary chairman and a major shareholder.
