B ubba Cathy is an American fast-food executive and an heir to the Chick-fil-A fortune. He is the son of S. Truett Cathy, the devout Christian founder who started the iconic chicken sandwich chain in 1946. Bubba, along with his brother Dan and sister Trudy, inherited the company after their father's death in 2014. The company remains privately held by the family.
