C hua Thian Poh is a self-made Singaporean real estate tycoon and the founder, chairman, and CEO of Ho Bee Land. He began his entrepreneurial journey not in property, but with a small business manufacturing hooks and eyes for clothing. He later moved into real estate, demonstrating a keen sense for property development and investment that would become the foundation of his immense fortune.

He founded Ho Bee Land in 1987 and built it into a major property developer, particularly known for its luxury residential projects in Singapore, including many of the high-end waterfront condominiums in the exclusive Sentosa Cove enclave. He also made a very timely and successful expansion into the London commercial real estate market, acquiring a portfolio of prime office buildings. He is a prominent figure in Singapore's business community and has also been active in public service, serving as a non-resident ambassador for Singapore.
