D aniel Nadler is an American technology entrepreneur and the founder of Kensho Technologies, a pioneering artificial intelligence and data analytics company. With a PhD from Harvard, Nadler founded Kensho in 2013 with the ambitious goal of building an 'AI for Wall Street'. The company developed a sophisticated platform that could instantly answer complex financial questions posed in plain English by sifting through vast amounts of data.
Kensho's technology, which combined natural language processing with massive parallel computing, quickly attracted the attention of major financial institutions. Goldman Sachs became a key early investor and client. In 2018, S&P Global acquired Kensho for $550 million, which at the time was the largest AI acquisition in history. The deal made Nadler a significant figure in the world of financial technology. He has since stepped down from Kensho and is focused on new ventures and his work as a fellow at Stanford's Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI).
