D avid Humphreys is an American billionaire and the CEO of TAMKO Building Products, one of the largest privately owned roofing manufacturers in the United States. The company was founded by his grandfather in 1944 in Joplin, Missouri. David represents the third generation of his family to lead the business.

Under his leadership, TAMKO has grown into a major national player in the building materials industry, specializing in residential roofing shingles as well as other construction products. Humphreys is also a highly influential and often controversial figure in conservative and libertarian politics. He and his family are among the largest political donors in the country, contributing hundreds of millions of dollars to candidates and causes that advocate for free-market principles, school choice, and right-to-work laws. His sister, Sarah, also holds a stake in the family business.
