D enise DeBartolo York is an American billionaire businesswoman who is the co-chairwoman and controlling owner of the National Football League's San Francisco 49ers. She is the daughter of the late Edward DeBartolo Sr., a real estate tycoon, and the sister of Edward 'Eddie' DeBartolo Jr., the flamboyant former owner of the 49ers who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
