D onald Newhouse is an American media billionaire who, with his late brother Samuel "Si" Newhouse Jr., inherited and ran the massive media empire, Advance Publications, which was founded by their father, Samuel Newhouse Sr. The company is a sprawling and privately held conglomerate with major holdings in magazines, newspapers, and cable television.
