E ugene Kaspersky is a Russian cybersecurity expert and the co-founder and CEO of Kaspersky Lab, one of the world's best-known antivirus and cybersecurity software companies. With a background in mathematical engineering and cryptography from a KGB-sponsored institute, Kaspersky began his career researching computer viruses. In 1997, he co-founded his eponymous company to commercialize his expertise.
