F arhad Moshiri is an Iranian-British billionaire businessman and investor. A chartered certified accountant, he made his fortune primarily through his long and successful partnership with the Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov. He was a key executive and shareholder in many of Usmanov's companies, including the iron ore and steel giant Metalloinvest.

In addition to his industrial investments, Moshiri is a well-known figure in the world of English soccer. He and Usmanov were previously major shareholders in the famous London club, Arsenal F.C. After selling his stake in Arsenal, Moshiri acquired a majority stake in another English Premier League club, Everton F.C., in 2016. He has since become the club's majority owner, investing hundreds of millions of pounds in players and in the development of a new stadium. He has since reportedly sold down his stake in Usmanov's former main holding company.
