J oel Greenberg is a co-founder of Susquehanna International Group (SIG), one of the world's largest and most successful quantitative trading firms. He established the company in 1987 with his college friends Jeff Yass, Arthur Dantchik, and others, after meeting at the State University of New York at Binghamton. Greenberg, who is trained as a lawyer, served as the firm's Chief Operating Officer, helping to build the infrastructure that allows SIG to trade millions of financial products daily across global markets.

While Jeff Yass is often the public face of the firm's trading strategies, Greenberg played a critical operational role in Susquehanna's expansion from a small options trading shop into a global powerhouse in market making and private equity. The firm is also known for its massive, early investment in ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, a deal that has generated enormous value for the founders. Greenberg has since retired from day-to-day operations but remains a major shareholder. He is also active in philanthropy through the Seed the Dream Foundation, which focuses on education and Holocaust memory.
