R egina Helena S. Velloso is a Brazilian heiress whose fortune is derived from her inherited stake in the Votorantim Group, one of Brazil's largest and most diversified privately held industrial conglomerates. She is the daughter of the late José Ermírio de Moraes Filho and the granddaughter of José Ermírio de Moraes, the visionary entrepreneur who built the family's empire. The Votorantim Group has a dominant presence in several core sectors of the Brazilian economy.
