R einhold Würth is a German entrepreneur who transformed his father's small wholesale screw business into the Würth Group, a global market leader in fastening and assembly materials. He joined his father's business at the age of 14 as an apprentice. When his father passed away in 1954, a 19-year-old Reinhold took over the two-person company. With immense drive and a clear vision, he embarked on an ambitious expansion plan. He built a powerful direct sales force that developed close relationships with customers in the automotive, construction, and industrial sectors.

Under his leadership, the Würth Group experienced phenomenal growth, expanding from a regional German supplier into a multinational behemoth with thousands of employees and operations in dozens of countries.
