R obert Miller is an American-born British billionaire and the co-founder of Duty Free Shoppers (DFS), the luxury travel retailer. He founded the concept in 1960 in Hong Kong with Charles Feeney, targeting tourists with high-end tax-free goods. The business became phenomenally successful, and in 1996, Miller and his partners sold a majority stake to LVMH, the French luxury conglomerate. Miller retained a significant minority stake and remains involved with the company.

A resident of Hong Kong for over 60 years, Miller is also known for his adventurous lifestyle, including breaking world sailing records. He is the father of the famous "Miller Sisters"—Pia, Marie-Chantal (Crown Princess of Greece), and Alexandra—who married into royalty and high society.
