S ofia Högberg Schörling is a Swedish heiress and business leader who, along with her older sister Märta, inherited one of Sweden's most significant industrial investment fortunes. She is the daughter of the late Melker Schörling, a highly respected self-made investor who founded the publicly traded investment company, Melker Schörling AB (MSAB). Her father was renowned for his long-term, active ownership approach, building a multi-billion dollar portfolio by taking major stakes in and developing leading global industrial companies.

Following her father's death in 2023, Sofia and her sister took control of the family's vast holdings. The MSAB portfolio is concentrated in a handful of world-class companies, including the lock manufacturer Assa Abloy, the security services firm Securitas, and the measurement technology leader Hexagon AB. Taking an active role in stewarding the family's legacy, Sofia serves on the boards of directors for several of the key portfolio companies, including MSAB, Securitas, and the specialty vegetable oils company AAK, continuing her father's tradition of engaged, responsible ownership.
