S usan Co is a Filipina businesswoman who is the co-founder and vice-chairman of Puregold Price Club, one of the Philippines' largest and most successful supermarket chains. She and her husband, Lucio Co, who serves as the company's chairman, are a formidable husband-and-wife team who have built a massive retail empire from the ground up. They started their business career with a single grocery store and, in 1998, opened the first Puregold hypermarket.

While her husband is often the public face of the company, Susan has been deeply and actively involved in the company's operations from the beginning.
