T an Yu Yeh is a Malaysian retail tycoon who, along with his brother Tan Yu Wei, founded and controls the home improvement retail chain Mr D.I.Y. Group. He opened the first Mr D.I.Y. store in Kuala Lumpur in 2005 as a traditional hardware store. He has since built the company into a massive and highly successful retail powerhouse with a unique business model. The stores offer a huge variety of products—often over 18,000 different items—at fixed, low prices, following an 'Always Low Prices' strategy.

This concept proved to be incredibly popular, and the company has expanded at a tremendous pace, growing into Malaysia's largest home improvement retailer with over 1,000 stores. The company has also expanded internationally into other markets in Southeast Asia. The brothers took the company public on the Malaysian stock exchange in a blockbuster IPO in 2020, which turned them into multi-billionaires. Tan Yu Yeh serves as the company's executive vice chairman.
