T heo Roussis is the CEO and controlling shareholder of Ravago, a global leader in the distribution and recycling of plastics, rubber, and chemicals. He joined the company through his marriage to Gunhilde Van Gorp, the daughter of Ravago's founder, Raf Van Gorp, who established the business in 1961. Under Roussis's stewardship, Ravago transformed from a local recycler into a multinational giant with revenues exceeding €13 billion and a workforce of over 9,000 people.

Roussis has driven the company's aggressive expansion strategy, acquiring numerous distributors and compounding facilities worldwide. He controls the business through the Luxembourg-based holding company Plastiche, alongside his wife. His leadership has solidified Ravago's position as a critical intermediary in the petrochemical supply chain, offering services ranging from recycling to global distribution.
