W ang Junjin, along with his brothers Wang Junhao and Wang Junfeng, is a principal owner of the JuneYao Group, a diversified private conglomerate based in Shanghai. He serves as the chairman of the group. The company was founded by his late elder brother, Wang Junyao, a pioneering and charismatic Chinese entrepreneur who started the family's business by winning a contract to operate a charter airline service in the early 1990s, a first for a private company in China.

After his brother's untimely death in 2004, Wang Junjin took over the leadership of the family's growing empire. The group's flagship business is Juneyao Airlines, which has grown into a successful publicly traded private airline in China, with a fleet of modern aircraft and a growing international network. In addition to aviation, the JuneYao Group has major interests in other sectors, including retail (with its ownership of department stores), real estate, and financial services, where it is a significant shareholder in Wuxi Commercial Bank.
