W ang Shuifu is the chairman of Xizi Clean Energy Equipment Manufacturing (formerly Hangzhou Boiler Group), a major Chinese supplier of waste heat recovery boilers and clean energy equipment. He began his career in 1970 selling agricultural machinery before moving into industrial manufacturing. Wang acquired the state-owned Hangzhou Boiler factory in the early 2000s and transformed it into a modern, market-driven enterprise.

Under his stewardship, the company became a leader in energy-efficient boiler technology and expanded into solar thermal power and nuclear power equipment. He successfully took the company public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2011. Wang also leads the broader Xizi United Holding Corporation, which has interests in elevators (through a joint venture with Otis), aviation components, and real estate, making him a prominent industrialist in Zhejiang province.
