W en Pengcheng is the former chairman and a key leader of Wens Foodstuff Group, China's largest broiler chicken and pig breeder. He is the son of Wen Beiying, who founded the company in 1983 in Guangdong province with a unique cooperative model involving local farmers. Wen Pengcheng joined the family business early on and was instrumental in scaling its "company + farmer" model, which provides farmers with chicks, feed, and medicine, while the company handles processing and sales.

Under his guidance, Wens Foodstuff Group grew into an agricultural giant, listing on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2015. This IPO created several billionaires within the Wen family and among the founding farmers. Although he stepped down as chairman in 2017, handing the reins to his brother Wen Zhifen, Wen Pengcheng remains a significant shareholder and influential figure in China's agribusiness sector.
