Y ang Shaopeng is the founder and former chairman of SITC International Holdings, a leading intra-Asia shipping and logistics company based in Hong Kong. He started his career in the shipping industry in the late 1970s and founded SITC in 1991, initially as a freight forwarding business in Shandong province. Under his leadership, SITC grew into a comprehensive logistics giant, operating a fleet of container vessels and providing integrated supply chain solutions across Asia.

Yang took the company public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2010. He stepped down as chairman in 2024, handing over the role to CEO Yang Xianxiang, but remains a controlling shareholder. His daughter, Yang Xin, serves as the vice chairman, ensuring the family's continued involvement in the company's strategic direction.
