Y ang Xuegang is the chairman and CEO of China Risun Group, one of the world's largest independent producers of coke and coking chemicals. He founded the company in 1995 in Hebei province, starting with a single coke plant. Before his entrepreneurial career, he worked for a local government water bureau. Under his leadership, Risun Group expanded rapidly, integrating coal chemical production with refining and supply chain management.

The company is now headquartered in Beijing and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Yang has focused on modernizing the coking industry in China, emphasizing environmental sustainability and operational efficiency. He holds an executive master's degree in business administration from Hebei University of Technology. His wealth comes from his controlling stake in the group, which plays a vital role in China's steel and chemical supply chains.
