He started the business in 1980 in Yuhuan, Zhejiang province, with just a few thousand yuan and a handful of lathes. Over four decades, he built the company into a global supplier, providing critical components to major automotive and industrial clients like SAIC Motor, Cummins, and Caterpillar.

Shuanghuan Driveline went public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2010.
