A lbert Avdolyan is a Russian businessman with a diverse portfolio of investments spanning telecommunications, energy, and mining. He is the founder of the investment company A-Property. Avdolyan first made his mark in the telecom industry as a founder of Expatel, a telecommunications provider, and by gaining a key stake in Scartel, the company behind the Yota 4G network in Russia. The eventual sale of his telecom assets provided him with significant capital to pursue new ventures.

In recent years, Avdolyan has focused heavily on the natural resources sector, particularly coal mining in Siberia. Through his A-Property vehicle, he has consolidated several major coal assets in the Yakutia region, including the Elga coal deposit, one of the largest coking coal deposits in the world.
