A lfredo Egydio Arruda Villela Filho is a Brazilian billionaire investor and a member of one of the country's oldest and most powerful banking families. He is the great-grandson of the founder of Itaú, which, through a merger, became Itaú Unibanco, the largest private sector bank in Latin America. His family is one of the largest shareholders in the bank through their holding company, Itaúsa.
