A nders Holch Povlsen is a Danish retail magnate and the CEO and sole owner of the international fashion group Bestseller. He inherited the company from his parents, who founded it in 1975. At the age of 28, he became the sole owner of the family business, which includes a portfolio of popular fashion brands such as Jack & Jones, Vero Moda, and Only. He has transformed Bestseller from a successful Danish company into a global fashion powerhouse.

Beyond his family's core fashion business, Povlsen is a prolific and savvy investor. He is the largest shareholder in the British online fashion retailer ASOS and a significant shareholder in the German e-commerce giant Zalando. He is also famous for being the largest private landowner in Scotland, and one of the largest in the United Kingdom, where he is pursuing a massive, long-term conservation and rewilding project. Tragically, he and his wife lost three of their four children in the 2019 Sri Lanka Easter bombings.
