B arry Zekelman is a Canadian industrialist who, along with his brothers Alan and Clayton, owns and runs Zekelman Industries, North America's largest independent manufacturer of steel pipes and tubes. The company was founded as Atlas Tube by their father, Harry Zekelman, in 1984. The brothers inherited the business and have been the driving force behind its massive expansion.

Barry serves as the Executive Chairman and CEO, leading the company's strategy and operations. The brothers took the unusual step of buying their company back from the private equity firm Carlyle Group in 2011, five years after selling a majority stake to them. Under their renewed control, Zekelman Industries has grown aggressively through the acquisition of other steel tubing companies, consolidating its market-leading position.
