B inod Chaudhary is a Nepalese billionaire businessman, politician, and philanthropist who is the chairman of the Chaudhary Group (CG), a multinational conglomerate. He is Nepal's first and only billionaire. His family has a business background, but he is credited with transforming their trading house into a diversified global enterprise with over 136 companies in various sectors.

The cornerstone of his fortune is Wai Wai, a brand of instant noodles that has become a global phenomenon, particularly popular in South Asia. He took a Thai noodle brand and adapted it for the local market, turning it into a household name. The Chaudhary Group's interests are vast, spanning banking, consumer goods, electronics, hotels, and education. His hospitality arm, CG Hospitality, owns and operates a portfolio of hotels and resorts across the globe. He has also served as a member of Nepal's parliament.
