B obby Murphy is an American technology entrepreneur who co-founded Snap Inc., the parent company of the popular social media app Snapchat, along with Evan Spiegel and Reggie Brown. A graduate of Stanford University with a degree in mathematical and computational science, Murphy met Spiegel in their fraternity. As the company's Chief Technology Officer, Murphy was the original coder and technical architect behind the ephemeral messaging app.
