C hen Tei-fu is a Taiwanese-American businessman and the founder of Sunrider International, a multi-level marketing (MLM) company that sells herbal supplements, food, and household products. A trained pharmacologist, Chen founded the company in Utah in 1982 with his wife, Oi-Lin, who is a medical doctor. They combined his expertise in herbal medicine with her medical background to create their product line.

Sunrider's business model is based on a large network of independent distributors who sell the products directly to consumers and recruit new distributors. The company has grown into a global enterprise with operations in dozens of countries.
