G od Nisanov is a Russian billionaire real estate developer often referred to as Moscow's "King of Commercial Real Estate." Along with his longtime business partner, Zarakh Iliev, he has built a massive and powerful property empire. Born in Azerbaijan into a family of Mountain Jews, he moved to Moscow and began his career in the city's sprawling wholesale markets.
He and his partner have since built and now own a vast portfolio of some of Moscow's most valuable and high-profile commercial properties. Their holdings include iconic hotels (like the Radisson Collection Hotel, formerly the Hotel Ukraina), major shopping centers (like the Evropeisky mall), and large food markets. Their company, Kievskaya Ploshchad, is the largest commercial real estate owner in Russia. They are known for their deep connections and their ability to execute large and complex development projects in the Russian capital. Nisanov is also the chairman of the board of the All-Russian Exhibition Center (VDNKh).
