S cott Crabill is a managing partner at Thoma Bravo, one of the world's most successful private equity firms focused on the software and technology sectors. He joined the firm in 2002 and was instrumental in pivoting its strategy towards software buyouts, leading its very first investment in the sector. Over his tenure, he has overseen investments in numerous high-profile technology companies, including J.D. Power and Ellie Mae, playing a key role in growing Thoma Bravo's assets under management to over $130 billion.

Before joining Thoma Bravo, Crabill worked at Summit Partners and Hewlett-Packard, gaining deep operational and investment experience. He holds an MBA from Stanford University and an undergraduate degree from Duke University. Outside of his professional life, he is a dedicated philanthropist; along with his wife, he established the Crabill Family Foundation, which supports education, healthcare, and housing initiatives in his hometown of Springfield, Ohio, and his current residence in San Francisco.
