S imón Pedro Barceló Vadell is a Spanish businessman and the co-chairman of the Barceló Group, a global tourism and hospitality giant. He represents the third generation of the founding family. The company was started in 1931 by his grandfather as a small transport company in Palma de Mallorca. Under the leadership of his father and uncle, the business expanded into travel agencies and hotels, laying the foundation for a global enterprise.
