S teven Tisch is an American film producer and businessman who is the chairman and executive vice president of the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He is the son of the late Bob Tisch, who was a co-founder of the Loews Corporation conglomerate and the former Postmaster General of the United States. In 1991, Bob Tisch purchased a 50% stake in the New York Giants, which his son Steven inherited upon his death.

His production company has been behind a string of critically and commercially successful films, including "Risky Business," "The Pursuit of Happyness," and, most notably, "Forrest Gump," for which he won an Academy Award for Best Picture. As the co-owner and chairman of the Giants, a role he shares with John Mara, he has overseen the team's operations and has won two Super Bowls.
