T heresia Gouw is an Indonesian-born American venture capitalist and one of the most successful and influential women in the technology investment world. She immigrated to the U.S. as a child. An engineer by training, she began her career in venture capital at Accel Partners, where she rose to become a managing partner. At Accel, she was known for her successful early-stage investments in a number of notable technology companies, including the cybersecurity firm Imperva and the real estate marketplace Trulia.
