T imm Oberwelland is a German billionaire heir and one of the principal owners of the August Storck Group, a major international confectionery company. He is the great-grandson of August Storck, who founded the company in Westphalia, Germany, in 1903. The company has since grown into a global powerhouse, producing iconic candy brands that are sold in more than 100 countries and have become household names for generations.
Storck's famous brands include the caramel candy Werther's Original, the chocolate-hazelnut confection Toffifee, the chocolate bar Merci, and the chewy caramel Riesen. The company is intensely private and remains under the full control of the Oberwelland family. While his older brother, Axel Oberwelland, serves as the general manager and actively runs the business, Timm, along with his sister Maike, holds a substantial ownership stake in the confectionery empire. In keeping with the family's tradition, he maintains an extremely low public profile.
