W alter Wang is a Taiwanese-American billionaire and the chairman and CEO of JM Eagle, the world's largest manufacturer of plastic pipes. He is the son of the late, legendary Taiwanese tycoon Wang Yung-ching, the founder of the Formosa Plastics Group, one of Asia's most powerful industrial conglomerates. While he is an heir to this massive fortune, Walter has also built his own successful business empire.

He acquired a small American plastic pipe manufacturer, which became the foundation for JM Eagle. He has since built the company into a dominant global player through a combination of organic growth and major acquisitions, including the purchase of the pipe division of his family's Formosa Plastics.
