W ang Wenjing is a self-made Chinese software billionaire and the founder and chairman of Yonyou Software, one of China's largest and most successful enterprise software companies. A former government official, he founded the company in 1988 with a small amount of borrowed capital. He is considered one of the pioneers of China's software industry. He built Yonyou into a dominant domestic provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, which helps businesses to manage their accounting, human resources, and other back-office functions.
