D ouglas Hsu is a Taiwanese billionaire and the chairman of the Far Eastern Group, one of Taiwan's largest and most diversified conglomerates. He is the son of the group's founder, Hsu Yu-ziang, who started the business in Shanghai before relocating to Taiwan. Douglas inherited the business and has vastly expanded its operations.
