E rik Selin is a Swedish self-made real estate billionaire and the founder and CEO of Fastighets AB Balder, one of the largest property companies in the Nordic region. He began his investment career at a young age, buying his first apartment building when he was in his early 20s. He has since built a massive real estate empire from the ground up.

He founded Balder and has grown it through a relentless strategy of acquiring residential and commercial properties across Sweden and in other Nordic countries. He is known for his sharp deal-making skills and his deep understanding of the property market. In addition to his primary real estate holdings in Balder, he is also a major shareholder in a number of other companies, particularly in the financial sector, including a significant stake in the Swedish collector and credit management company, Collector Bank.
