F rancine von Finck is a German heiress and a member of one of the country's wealthiest and most secretive families. She is the daughter of the late August von Finck Jr. and the granddaughter of August von Finck Sr., who built the family's original fortune in banking and insurance, having been a co-founder of the insurer Allianz and the owner of the private bank Merck Finck & Co.

Her father, August von Finck Jr., sold the family's bank and their stake in Allianz and reinvested the massive proceeds into a diversified global portfolio of real estate, industrial companies, and hotels. The family is famously private and manages its vast wealth through holding companies in Switzerland. Upon her father's death, Francine, along with her three brothers, inherited this multi-billion dollar fortune. She is not known to be actively involved in managing the family's assets.
